Vibronics have been playing in Mexico for well over 10 years, and during this time they have witnessed the whirlwind paced growth of the Sound System Dub Reggae scene in the country. To celebrate the love of all things Dub in Mexico, Vibronics and their long time partners in Mexico City Rootical Sessions and producer Bungalow Dub set off to record the hottest singers and players across this amazing land.
This rich and weighty album features amazing recordings of Mariachi horns, Harp, mandolin and percussion so beloved of Mexico. Vocals are from Apoff, Lengualerta, ManikB, Olinka and
even the unbelievable Argentinian legend Alika, who was in Mexico City during the recording sessions and was happy to join the bass heavy party.
The worldwide lockdown delivered Steve Vibronics the ideal time to retreat to the Dub Cupboard Studio in Leicester, UK to work on the 16 frequency-full mixes that make up this album.
